Zuck’s mindset of “I don’t optimize to be happy, rather I optimize to win” is really stuck in my mind. On absolute terms, businesses and products’s ultimate goals is to be useful for people. If I want to be the best in the world in this discipline, how am I going to “win” if I don’t have that as my number one priority? And also, I don’t have much recognition for personal happiness anyways (satisfying my personal desires, yes) - if I don’t win now, it’s probably never going to happen. And that’s true both on both metamorphic basis and philosophical wise at is an reality.

Reminiscent

Remember going back to what I really want to do. I aspire to create an environment like G, where everybody is giving their all to create the best products in the world for their customers - the feeling of going to office, etc. is what I have to go back to. G is king.
